"This place by the lac, gives you the view to the mountain and allows you to have a nice drink and relax. The atmosphere is always great, especially in Summer, outside with always something going on. it could appear a bit pricey but it is...Zurich. Food wise, various dishes offered of quality and very well served. It will satisfied the most of the gourmands out there."

"We searched and went to this place at the recommendation of a family friend who had been there couple of months back and we weren’t disappointed. This is a very nice place in the old part of Zurich with options of outdoor (highly recommended) and indoor seating. Guests prefer outdoor seating so do ensure that i) you make a reservation in advance and ii) reach there in time as the place does fill up. The have a variety of Indian options (both veg and non veg) to choose from and the food is good both in terms of taste as well as quantity. So if you are an Indian who is looking for “ghar ka khana” in Switzerland then look no farther. They seemed a little understaffed but the folks on duty did an amazing job of ensuring that guests were served in time with a smile. The dishes come with “high quality basmati rice” so the place is absolute value for money. To summarise, a must visit place in Zurich for Indian food."

"We were looking very much forward to our visit of “Sala of Tokyo”, the expectations were high, and unfortunately not met. While the food was delicious, the service was not up to the standard. It’s easy to spend 250 Francs 35’500 JPY per Person here with little alcohol, but the whole dinner is served like being at “Mister Wong”: obviously the staff had no formal training, pouring too much soy sauce, serving from the wrong side, unsure what’s on the plate “some Japanese vegetable” , unfamiliar with basic Japanese terms for food, alcohol, or chopsticks. Seems like the place exploits its former glory. Pity, we shall not return."

"This fast food place was recommended by a friend for a great sausage. Huge line but moved fast. Great veal brats grilled with a Chuck of bread and beer hits the spot after a day of walking around."

"Well, we went in the day before, just to enquire what fish/veggie options there were......the owner seemed very helpful and said to just ask when we arrive, for him, and he would make suggestions. Fine. We looked forward to it...nice view etc. We were given the impression that the large pizza like dish was too large for one so that we could share it, as well as chips and a salad each. We also ordered beers and...a tapwater. He said he would 'make ' a jug using the mountain water etc. That arrived, fizzy (how? . The bill later had TWO main courses rather than the shared one we thought we had had...therefore an extra £20....AND nearly £4...for the tapwater we had asked for. He had not told us the 'free ' water would cost more than a beer outrageous!! That left a very nasty taste in the mouth (an English expression meaning we felt we had been cheated ....we would not, sadly, go there again. A basic meal (one course cost us nearly £70, more than anywhere else...and everywhere is expensive out there...for some odd reason...."

"We had lunch here. For a hospital cafeteria, the food was better than average. I particularly liked the strawberry tart. There is also a nice view of the lake ."
