"We came to this restaurant on a Saturday night because it was right by our hotel. We know that Baar is a very small town so even though we came on a Saturday night without reservations, we were seated right away, and half of the restaurant was full of people. We ordered the mussles with fries as well a their flatbread. We were brought complimentary beef tartar served with a pickle. The food was great and is a good place if you want pub food."

"We were able to get a table right next to the water. Although our visit was in May, it was quite a cool evening and we enjoyed an appetizer of fondue split between 2 of us. My husband ordered the pork, which he loved, and...I had the mixed salad. Everything was great!"

"I went with my boyfriend to this location for a nice meal. The location is quiet, and the venue is very lovely. Not many people in the restaurant though. The food and the service was really good. The meat tasted delicious. Price wise: I come from London where I already thought prices were expensive there, here is all another world - so it is pricey. But is do-able ones every now and then - definitely not a place to go every saturdays."

"At first sight, it is the same old brewery restaurant, but it is when you go eat there that you realize how much of a different place this has become.Up to 5 years ago I used to be a regular guest and bring friends and colleagues to enjoy this pleasant place, where nicely prepare comfort food and several different cordon bleus were prepared nicely, consistently good and at a reasonable price.5 years ago I went again after different ownership/management took it over and already saw major differences. Smaller menu and feeble taste (but higher prices).Last Sunday my wife and I decided to try it again, only to be confirmed in our previous judgment.Major disappointment.If you want to have nice cordon bleus, there are many better places nowadays.Only 5 years ago this was THE place for cordon bleus!What a pity."

"We waited almost an hour to order, rather too long I thought. But nice decor, good atmosphere, excellent staff, but a bit understaffed the night we were there. Being South African I just had to order the South African burger and although it was really nice (especially since I was hungry after waiting so long to order) I didn't see what made it South African. A little Mrs Ball's chutney would have done the trick, or some spicy chakalaka. Parking is also problematic, probably best to use public transport. All in all well worth a visit but don't expect an authentic South African burger."

"You have previously refurbished was really in line with what they were about now totally lack of ambience, and atmosphere before, restaurant felt modern tasteful strange furniture tables thinking American Diner? Do you now have a Greek statue like you in...? not sure what this is, and connection to the butcher kitchen theme I am sure embarrassed for father with his young daughter?.... 1 waitress and everything ordered online. Butcher chips tasted as if cooked in oil fish in Burger was ok, but could be anywhere different than other famous Burger places except they serve alcohol. I'm sorry."

"Pretty decent pasta and a few glasses wein and prices did not seem too bad. I had pasta with tomato and aubergine and my colleague had bark carpaccio. service was friendly and eating was good"
