"I frequent this restaurant on an almost weekly basis as they always have space for you, the price is reasonable (for Zug that is), the food is good and the staff are super friendly.I cannot recommend this place enough. Its a little rustic and the decor etc is 'worn' but for lunch time I honestly think in the immediate area that there are few better places."

"This small restaurant offers many vegan options in a prime location. The mix of traditional antique Swiss interior and Thai cuisine is very interesting, but I really liked the location. Make sure to specify vegan when ordering as they only declare vegan meat replacement (although you should be good anyway). Not that the entrance is on the right side, the ground floor is the bar. "We came to this restaurant on a Saturday night because it was right by our hotel. We know that Baar is a very small town so even though we came on a Saturday night without reservations, we were seated right away, and half of the restaurant was full of people. We ordered the mussles with fries as well a their flatbread. We were brought complimentary beef tartar served with a pickle. The food was great and is a good place if you want pub food."

"In my opinion, the best place for Thai food in Zug (open for lunch only). This is a small grocery store and the owner prepares daily approx. 5 different meals before. Usually a curry with shrimp, chicken or beef, padthai etc. Curries are served with white rice. The flavors are amazing. The food is so delicious that I wish the portions were a little bigger. You can dip (only a few tables available) or remove. The only drawback to eat is that the place does not have the best ventilation and in the end you smell Thai food in the rest of the day."
