"Ordered takeaway menu on the phone, arrived and paid, and waited as the my first meal sat there and the second was made. Was eventually told that they were out of my second choice and that I would have to take a green curry as an alternative. No price reduction, little in the way of an apology offered. It was 9:20 on a Friday night - there are little other options around so I agreed - this then took another 15 minutes to cook - all the time my first meal sat packaged on the counter. When I stated that I didn't think that being told my meal wasn't available 5 minutes after I'd paid for it and for my first meal to be sat on the counter going cold I was asked why I was 'always complaining' and 'what did I want?'. The rudeness and the level of customer service was truly awful - it might explain why there were only two tables being used on a Friday night..."

"This small restaurant offers many vegan options in a prime location. The mix of traditional antique Swiss interior and Thai cuisine is very interesting, but I really liked the location. Make sure to specify vegan when ordering as they only declare vegan meat replacement (although you should be good anyway). Not that the entrance is on the right side, the ground floor is the bar. "Im Meienrisli habe ich schon oft sehr gut gegessen. Ob Mittagessen oder Abendessen, die Gerichte sind abwechslungsreich. Am Mittag hat es eine Mittagskarte mit verschiedenen Menues. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und nett. Es gibt gratis Granderwasser das man am Brunnen selber holen kann. Preis/Leistung ist gut. Ein Restaurant das ich immer gerne wieder aufsuche."

"My wife and I went there on a week evening, while it was still warm outside, to try this place which we had always seen but always forgotten when it came to choosing a place to eat out.We were unexpectedly please by the place, both the small garden with trees (where we ate) and the inside, cosy and warm.My wife took a pizza and I took what I consider to be the stable-plate of any Swiss restaurant: the cordon bleu.The pizza was average and the cordon bleu was really bad, dry, very crusty, with meat that due to overcooking lost all of its flavour, with a strange tasting cheese... disappointing.Perhaps we should have tried the paella, but I am very hesitant to go there again after trying out the pizza and cordon bleu.I suppose this is a good casual place to go, when you don't have any better option and if you're not expecting too much..."
