"We came to my husband's birthday, the staff is incredibly friendly, the place is spacious, clean, beautiful, amd quiet. The food is on another level, and they have even taken the food for our vegan needs. Can't recommend this place enough"

"I have been coming for 7 years to this restaurant. Quite good selection and good sushis. I have however noted a significant change in staff engagement and friendliness for a few years. Waiting time is increasing, food is left at the kitchen for quite a...long time before they bring it to your table, staff does not really pay attention to your table and you have to call them out or go to the cashier to get some attention, do not expect ANY attention from them. Good service is definitely not what you will get there; but need to be fair and food is good. Management in particular is very very rude. Some waiters are trying to be nice though. If I had other options for good sushis, I would have changed for a long time. I hope the team can improve and become nice again to customers."

"I frequent this restaurant on an almost weekly basis as they always have space for you, the price is reasonable (for Zug that is), the food is good and the staff are super friendly.I cannot recommend this place enough. Its a little rustic and the decor etc is 'worn' but for lunch time I honestly think in the immediate area that there are few better places."

"I go here quite often, they have a delicious tofu/vegetable Noodle Soup, which I usually take for lunch. You can choose between 2 types and add Ginger etc. You also have veggie sushi, but I haven't tried that before. Edamame are also available, but mine were a little too in water when I got them last time. It is a convenient location near the shopping center Metalli and within the train station, can also recommend bringing your Omnivore friends."

"The new place is spacious, family friendly and nice. Had been to Aki many times So far this is still the best Japanese restaurant in Zug. Food is really good. Almost all the maki rolls are very nice. Price is medium high. Highly recommended."
