"This is a stake house and it is very pricey for German restaurants. Steak prices are the same as in the US at this place. In fact you might end up better in the US. However, their steak burgers and their local beef they use are amazing. Also their French onion soup on the appetizer side was very good (not the best i had in Germany). Steaks are good, but not goid enough for what you pay. This place is always busy at the Alexanderplatz due to international foot traffic. There are other lical options in the area where you can eat a good dinner for less than half. Try Schloegl nearby for outstanding local fare for under 15 Euroes with tip."

"- Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. Kregen salade en koffie van het huis. Maar nog veel belangrijker: de ober (naam vergeten, maar kwam uit Kosovo, vraag naar hem!) had constant oog voor zijn gasten, maakte gezellig een praatje en stelde het belang van zijn gasten voorop. Een voorbeeld voor alle obers! - Heerlijk vlees, perfect bereid in open keuken. Dessert, baklava, werd ovenvers binnengebracht. Ga niet naar huis zonder deze geprobeerd te hebben. - Gezellige entourage.Kortom: ga gewoon naar binnen en geniet!"

"Very delicious!!! I'm thrilled. I was here for the weekend with my family. The restaurant was very crowded like every day (as before and after) but we were lucky to have a place. The ambience is very nice, the whole restaurant is very well maintained and you feel comfortable. There's something on the map for everyone. My sister and my father ate a steak for about 27 euros each and were totally enthusiastic. The meat is totally delicate and you taste the quality. As a supplement there was a huge oven potato with Sour Cream and Knoblaubrot, which was unbelievably good. I myself am not the carnivorous plant and therefore decided for the mushroom Potato, that was a kiln potato with mushrooms in a cream sauce and grilled vegetables with a garlic bread. The service was very courteous, asked us during the meal if everything was okay and was very friendly overall. If we come back to Berlin, we'll definitely look back here!"
