"I wanted a chai latte. the personal asked me what taste and how I thought, what taste I would take, she repeated again and again “what aroma” which aroma and did not let me think. I didn't know I could only pay. cash if we had already chosen what we wanted to eat, they told us we could only pay cash, and that's okay, but they didn't give us any more information where we could withdraw cash. so I had to ask. we wanted to withdraw and they told us that one of us had to stay in the caffe. I don't understand why, it's not like we stole everything, and that could have been put right into his place. over the whole service was very rude and we felt unwilling. Women"

"Die negativen Beurteilungen kann ich persönlich nicht nachvollziehen.Mein Freund und ich besuchten am 14.11.15 abends das Lokal, welches auf uns sehr einladend wirkte. Bunte, mexikanisch angehauchte Inneneinrichtung, orientalisch wirkende Sitzkissen auf jedem Stuhl, welche einen sauberen und relativ neuen Eindruck machten. Künstliche Palmen in den Ecken. Südamerikanische popklassiker liefen in angenehmer Lautstärke. Das indische Personal war unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Bestellvorgang ging zügig vonstatten. Die Happy hour beginnt ab 18 Uhr den ganzen Abnd lang. Jeder Cocktail kostet dann nur 3,90 €.Ich hatte 3 Quesadillas mit Hähnchenfüllung, 3 verschiedenen Saucen und Beilagensalat für 5,90€. Diese schmeckten hervorragend. Ich hatte an meinem Gericht absolut nichts auszusetzen. Mein freund bestellte ein Steak mit Erdnusssauce und Ofenkartoffel für ca. 9 €. Auch er war sehr zufrieden. Er bemängelte zwar, dass es mehr Fleisch hätte sein können und dass das Fleisch an sich einen Tick zu lange in der Pfanne lag, aber letztendlich war er satt und zufrieden. Unsere Cocktails (Long-island-Icetea; Latin Lover) waren qualitativ und quantitativ für den Preis völlig in Ordnung.Da ich meinen Cocktail nicht ganz geschafft hatte (es war reichlich Tequila drin) wurde ich sogar gefragt, ob ich ihn nicht mitnehmen wolle(!) Man hätte mir sogar noch kostenfrei Saft aufgefüllt, damit er nicht so stark ist. Einen Punkt abzug gibts eigentlich nur, weil der Cocktail so Tequilalastig war und das Ambiente zum Teil doch noch durchscheinen lässt, dass früher mal ein Chinese oder ähnliches drin war.Also zumindest von uns auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung und ich hoffe sehr dass wir dort, bei einem eventuellen nächsten Berlinbesuch, erneut zu Gast sein werden."

"We visited Balthazar one evening prior to attending the symphony. We arrived early, let our waiter know we had an event, and asked him to keep us on schedule. He was great at pacing the meal service and had us out right on the dot...(which was good because otherwise we would have stayed a couple more hours to enjoy the wine). We chose to sit inside by the large windows to enjoy watching the people walking by while staying warm. The outside has several tables under umbrellas if you want but it was a bit cool when we visited. We both started with the Romaine lettuce salad which was excellent. Our mains we the Black Angus Fillet for my wife and Stuffed Guinea Fowl for me. Her steak was cooked to perfection and she really enjoyed the accompanying potatoes. My Guinea Fowl was tender and flavorful with excellent herbal seasoning. We finished by splitting a piece of semi liquid chocolate cake decadently rich. Accompanying the meal were varieties of wine (I prefer white and my wife prefers red) from the excellent wine list that Balthazar has."
