"Wir haben im gleichnamigen Hotel übernachtet und dort dann zu Abend gegessen. Zu einigen Gerichten konnte man auch kleine Portionen wählen, was ich als sehr angenehm empfand. Das Essen war schmackhaft und preislich nicht übertrieben. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht und hat anscheinend sehr viele Stammgäste. Auch der Service stimmte: freundlich, aufmerksam und schnelle Bedienung trotz vieler Gäste."

"Friends had invited us here, at the arrival at this completely rainy day it dawned and the wolves over the tribal glowed dramatically. the visit from san francisco was as enthusiastic about the situation and the outlook as we do. we had the very cozy, warm wood-tone dining room completely for us and enjoyed a beautiful evening with an excellent sauvignon blanc of the operating weingute schneider. the service was chosen friendly and attentive, had with only one table but also a home game. I'm afraid I'll have to take a break when I eat. the burials were either drowned from the day before (in view of the utilisation probably, but all the more annoying) or in such a way in fat that one could also have made fries out with a little more temperature. almost unthinkable! the carvings were made loudly in the kitchen plated, but unfortunately later too strongly fried. perhaps the cook had confused the flame for the burial and the carvings. a lot of lob got the beef, my tip for the next time. for I will go back in any case, location and dining room are simply too beautiful and with beautiful weather, the outside area is surely not only surrounded by the free-running chickens."

"We enjoyed the wide selection of different kinds of tea to match our choice of cake and sat outside enjoying the nice weather. We even returned the next day for another pot of tea and thanks to the umbrellas could remain in the fresh air...during the quick showers and could glimpse the nice park with the Colombischlössle, now an archaeological museum– and thus understood why the Colombi Hotel, which houses the Café Graf Anton, is called Colombi. Unfortunately we had to wait for servers on both our stops at the Café Graf Anton, wait for them to take our orders, wait for them to bring our cake and tea, wait for them to finally bring the bill. What we haven’t been able to figure out is who Graf Anton is there seems to have been lots of Spanish, German, and English nobility involved – so we’ll just have to come back and ask and hopefully the service will have improved by then."

"Ich besuche dieses Restaurant seit mehrerenJahren, die Preise wurden erheblich im letzten halben Jahr 10-15% angehoben, jedoch ist keinerlei Qualitätssteigerung damit einhergehend zubeobachten. Für eine Umbestellung der Beilagen wurden 3,00 Euro Extrakosten berechnet. Auch scheint die Rahmsoße zum Rahmschnitzel mit Geschmacksverstärkern verfeinert. Leider eine Entwicklung, die mich veranlasst das Restaurant nicht mehr zu besuchen. Für die gehobenen Preise erwarte ich keine Studenten als Aushilfe im Service. Die Geschäftsleitung sollte Ihre Preis-Leistungspolitik einmal überdenken."

"The potato house is hardly surpassed in regionality. We drive to Freiburg several times a year to enjoy a very special atmosphere and food in this outstanding location. The wide range of vegetarian us vegan dishes is also a huge plus point. We have so far gone home more and more as satisfied."
