"This felt like a genuine cozy local restaurant even though it is on a pedestrianised commercial street. We were made to feel very welcome and were pleased to see a seasonal menu with many options on top of the main menu. We relaxed and enjoyed a couple of the specials as well as ordinary menu and wine-list items. Prices were reasonable. It is part of a small group and our experience there would make me interested in trying others in the group."

"This was definitely one of the more prominent emotional experiences. learning the history of the berliner wall and looking at the images and strata of the people, brought up some feelings that are really unimaginable. this wall separated the families for decades and she comes down, was really a victor for the world. I recommend a visit here."

"Nice ambiente and eating was also good. but the service catastrophic. hectic! we were still sitting at the appetizer, and the main court came. they tried to make us quickly so that they could sell the table again. that doesn't work for such a restaurant. we will not go there any more."

"This place truly lives up to it's name: schönes Leben. Schnitzel was superb. It was served with cucumber salad, and turned out to be very refreshing. Curry wurst was a bit spicy - exactly the way it should be. Portions were big, but don't let it scare you; food is light and you will definitelly want to try more. Staff was very helpful and welcoming."
