"Great atmosphere, service and great food. We liked it so much we went back on our second night. Modern feel and well run. On our first night I had veal schnitzel, then on the second night the Bavarian version of macaroni cheese and my friend...had sardines on the one night and Bouillabaisse the other. Staff were patient in translating the menu and the chef came out to check on guests at the end of the evening."

"We were a bit worried when we entered the restaurant at lunch-time and not a single soul was present. However, the waitress reassured us that the chef was alive and well, the place was open for business and we were welcome to choose any table...within the vast establishment. Atmosphere is of traditional Bavarian quality and when a few more people appeared we relaxed and enjoyed the beers in front of us. Our meals followed in due course and consisted of Tellerfleisch (cooked beef served with horseradish and potatos) and Grilled Calamari (not baby-calamari). Both portions were generous, the beef (EUR was tender and the calamari (EUR were pleasant enough. Service was friendly and efficient. In short, you could do worse."
