"Wir gehen hier zur Mittagspause ganz gerne hin. Sobald der erste Anstrum gegen 13 Uhr verebt, kann man sich auch da rein trauen. Das Salädchen ist atmosphärisch sehr schön anzusehen. Innen mit Holz ausgestattet, Orange und Grün DIE Farben des Bistros hier und da in kleinen Elementen zu erkennen (Schrift, Geschirr etc...). Es gibt nur wenige Sitzplätze drin und für Draußen stimmt das Wetter zu selten bzw. man sitzt mitten auf dem Gehweg des Kaiser-Wilhelm-Rings. Es gibt eine typische Salattheke mit großer Auswahl. Man kann einen kleinen oder großen Salat auswählen. Grundlage ist Nudeln oder Blattsalat oder auch gemischt und dazu dann Basiszutaten was man so in den Salat tut. Glaub fünf kann man für lau dazu geben lassen und alle weiteren kann man gegen das zugehörige Brötchenchen eintauschen oder extra zahlen. Spezialzutaten wie Fleischzulage kostet direkt Einiges mehr. Eine große Auswahl an Dressing erschwert die Entscheidung, aber es ist noch immer jut jegane... Alternativ kann man eine Ofenknolle nehmen oder eine Suppe/Eintopf, die jeden Tag wechselt. Toll ist es, dass es fast immer eine vegetarische Variante gibt. Schade war, dass die Kürbiscreme-Suppe bereits um 12:30 Uhr aus war. Im Grunde sind die Zutaten/Speisen von guter Qualität, oft frisch (zubereitet) und appetitlich. Jedoch meine größte Kritik sind die Mengen für den Preis. € 4,50 für einen halbvollen Papp-Plastikcontainer mit Suppe zum mitnehmen geht einfach nicht. Und diese Aufback-Minibrötchen dazu reissen das Ganze auch nicht mehr rum. Ich war sehr überrascht, als ich den Frischesiegel auf dem Container augemacht habe, dass tatsächlich nur die Hälfte befüllt war. Die Suppe ist sehr lecker aber schlicht und ergreifend zu wenig. Da hole ich mir lieber bei der Konkurrenz eine Suppe, wo die kleine Suppe (was ungefähr die gleiche Menge sein dürfte) € 2,59 kostet. Und die Große € 4,95.Fazit: Wenn wir mehr Zeit zur Mittagszeit haben, kommen wir gerne her um vor Ort zu essen (hoffentlich fallen die Portionen dann angemessener aus). Aber zum mitnehmen lohnt sich das einfach nicht."

"Nach anfänglichen Holplereien hat sich "fairytale" zu einer meiner Lieblings-Anlaufstellen in der Mittagspause entwickelt. Es ist super frisch, geht schnell auch wenn der Laden voll ist und das Personal/die Betreiber sind sehr nett. Das Systemmit den ganzen und halben Portionen und der Auswahl zwischen Panini, Suppe und Salat klingt erstmal kompliziert, ist aber super zum Kombinieren und zum Abwägen je nachdem wie groß der Hunger ist. 6,50€ kostet eine ganze Portion, mit Getränk liegt man bei 9€, was ich für ne leckere Mittagspause super fair finde. Man kann mitnehmen, drinnen sitzen oder auf den Bänken vor dem Laden den Trubel der Dürener genießen. Und obwohl der Laden klein ist, kann man sogar mit Karte zahlen. Das alles finde ich top und komme gerne immer wieder."

"General As part of the birthday present, I invited my mom to the Italian, she had been in charge and opted for the small pizzeria Il Valentino in the city centre. In front of the counter is a huge wood oven from which you can also get its delicious pizza. Rather unusual in the guest room, but it doesn't bother. The counter is waiting with a large gastro coffee machine and some spirits. The tables are held in the same dark wood as the counter and fit to the long, red upholstered bench The walls have been embellished in red wiping technology. Current highlights of the map are presented on several slate boards. Everything seems simple. Here you can go after a day of shopping in the city. I found it very simple and I don't really like the wiping technique on the walls. For a nice candlelight dinner I would choose something else. To our arrival, the guest room was a bit empty except a few tourists, as it was very early. As time progresses, the space filled noticeably. Some couples, or even single men, who gave themselves a little wine. For later hours, a reservation is certainly useful, as there are not many tables in the basement. In the upper floor there is enough space for a larger group. The floor is yellow and the furniture is back in brown wood with red upholstery. The walls are painted here in Mediterranean orange. We were served by a friendly young waitress. And once chose Aqua Panna 0,75 mL to 4,50 € and once white wine in the carafe 0.5 L to 13,50 €. Both were brought to our table well cooled flight. As an appetizer we chose Carpaccio at 8,50 €. The Carpaccio was of good quality, cut hauchfein and appealed with plenty of fresh rocket, balsamico and freshly planned parmesan. My mother likes to eat Carpaccio and was thrilled as she had eaten the same dish at another Italian in the same week much worse. To this was served a crushed bread and a pepper mill. As the main course, it should be pizza. You can also order the smaller variant with a diameter of 26 cm, which we can look at the side table (small pizzas of more than 30 cm! also should not regret. My mom wanted to make herself a little extraordinary and ordered: Pizza Bresaola (with smoked ham, rucola and parmesan at €7.50 and I chose the Pizza Fantasia (with mushrooms, spinach, minced meat and salami instead of ham at €6.90. Both pizzas were hot and very luxuriantly served the edge crispy, coated with sufficient but also not too much tomato sauce. We had the water in our mouth and so it tasted! Here the pizza tastes and the goods are fresh! I haven't eaten such a delicious pizza for a long time. In addition to the usual pizzas and pastries, there were also some meat dishes that would irritate me. Cleanliness The toilets are upstairs. There was nothing to complain about. Service PLV The whole family is still working with us and you can see that. You'll be kindly worried and you'll be asked if everything's okay. It's just given attention to whether the guests feel comfortable and that's why the restaurant is well visited. We thanked each other with a good tip. The PLV is very good, you can even take the pizza home for 1 € less. Here you can also spend a nice evening with little money. FAZIT The service, food and PLV are certainly the absolute plus points here. Unfortunately, the ambience is not so beautiful that one would organize a great celebration here. That's better. However, it is rewarded by friendliness and fresh products. My recommendation to go to downtown for a pizza or to spend an evening with the friend. We like to come back!"
