"Early evening dinner after a long bike journey. And across the street the Japanese sushi restaurant was quite busy. No way I was going to wait!! This place, not so much. Quite empty from what I could see, which is not a good indicator. Took a chance and to be honest was quite good. Started with spring rolls and then Pad Thai. Tasty and just filling enough. Service was okay, would recommend this place if you have time to spare."

"We couldn't understand the menu however the owner was patient and spent time describing the dishes. The owner also went through the wines and his suggestion was excellent. The food was beautifully fresh, tasted amazing and was artistically presented. A thoroughly enjoyable meal!"

"Das GadoGado war lange mein Lieblingsrestaurant im Viertel, ich wohne um die Ecke. Seit dem letzten Besitzerwechsel 2015 ist das Essen aber nur noch als Ausnahme gut und der Service eine Katastrophe. Chefin und ihre Freundinnen stehen am Tresen, die Gäste werden gerne bis zu 30 Minuten ignoriert - beim Bestellen, Nachfragen, Abräumen. Bei einer freundlich formulierten Beschwerde, weil mein sonst dortiges Lieblingsgericht völlig verwürzt war (salzig ohne Ende), wurde ich dermaßen unverschämt angegangen "unser Koch ist Asiat, wenn es ihnen nicht schmeckt, sollten sie das Gericht nicht bestellen" dass ich das GadoGado leider niemandem mehr empfehlen möchte. Selbst auf die dann auch noch unkorrekte Rechnung haben wir nochmal über 20 Minuten gewartet. Ich gehe nicht mehr hin - es sei denn, die aktuelle Besitzerin räumt das Feld."

"I got the chance to try this fame place out a few weeks ago. Ok, I didnt deserve the whole portion, as I already had something else which wasnt less tempting.No matter you picked Crepes or Gallettes, they should be to your favor. One in all, all in one. Great taste, nice service and fair price. Too bad the venue is very tiny and too simple, lets say its more a bistro to a maison to me. Yes, you could enjoy the baguettes outside tho, passing the busy Venloerstr., if you dont mindI'd def. come back. For sure, my recommendation!"
