"Wir als "Locals" wollten gern einmal dieses kleine hübsche Restaurant direkt gegenüber der Thomaskirche besuchen. Leider mussten wir feststellen, das dies eine wirkliche Touristenfalle ist. Große Preise, kleine Gerichte und eine klitzekleine Karte, wo Vegetarier nichts finden. Man serviert ausschließlich deftige Hausmannskost in Minniportionen. Da kann man in Leipzig an fast jedem anderem Ort besser essen und wird sicher auch satt, was hier nicht der Fall war. Definitiv nicht wieder und nicht zu empfehlen."

"We ate here at 1500 hrs, after having been turned away from another restaurant as being too late for lunch at 1345 hrs. The principle here is that the customer, even one customer, comes first. The owner, who was onsite, told us that he is open all day until the last customer leaves ... "even if that is 0500 hrs"! The restaurant is located in a nice leafy part of town, frequented by alot of students, and offers good light German food at very reasonable prices. The service was great, and the atmosphere pleasant and discrete, if quiet (but it was mid-afternoon). If I lived in Leipzig, I would visit this restaurant every week!"
