The ingo wilms is also one of the good! to highlight is the extensive menu that has not made us the choice easy. my wife chose a apricot mandel soup, I have eaten scampis with sweetness (the spa was delivered after the waiter's arrival from paris). we both have not regretted our choice. the wine card can also be seen. the service was very friendly; the whole of course to "sylt-typical" praises."

"THE RESTAURANT The restaurant is pretty hidden and if you don't accidentally discover the sign, you would go past it smoothly. This is also because the house number in the Navi has not been found because the restaurant is hidden on a campsite. Only if you drive to the huge parking lot can you see the locality. From the outside, in my eyes, it's like a normal beach area on Sylt, but somehow inconspicuous. A staircase with about 8 steps leads to the restaurant. And this sight surprises. Once you arrive, there is something to see. The ceiling is full of stars, there are old bottles as decoration, beach baskets at the tables and even sand on the floor. The view from the windows is not a highlight, because you don't see trees or beach, but the campsite, but that doesn't matter. A reservation was not necessary. Since at this time some tables had reservations, I can put it in the heart of the high season. The audience was mixed and consists of a colorful camping crowd. At noon there were smaller groups of 2-4 persons between 30-50. Nevertheless, I would like to point out at this point that the restaurant is operated as extremely child-friendly and that is not groundless. Prices are average for Sylt. We have for a steak, a daily dish, two appetizers, a pizza, as well as four drinks approx. 80€ paid. The service is friendly, friendly and sympathetic. And very child-friendly. More than 100 reviews spoke for the locals. After we picked up a table spontaneously, we got a menu and were asked for our drinks. The card itself is clearly designed. There is a day ticket for lunch and a main ticket. After seeing the inlaid card, I thought of a small snack, but the main card impresses with more demanding dishes. My husband chose the potato soup with sausages, as well as a Wienerschnitzel with Rahm-Champignons. The children shared a classic pizza salami. And I chose Bruschetta and a steak. After about 5 minutes waiting time, the drinks were taken to the table. Our specialty was served in red wine glasses and enchanted me with a thick exclamation mark. Honestly, this feels much more noble than a classic Cola glass. For the little ones there were beautiful glasses with an apple choir, where the straw always freaked out. There was no greeting from the kitchen, but that was not necessary, because about 10 minutes later a large pan with my broschetta was worn on the table and shortly afterwards a large portion of potato soup. Optically very appealing, but both so lush that I was afraid to be fed after the appetizer. Tastefully but perfect and only the Bruschetta did it to me completely. I have already eaten some and here awaits you a crispy, slightly thick baguette, coated with a fruity tomato sauce, fresh thin garlic slices, onions and quartered tomatoes. The mixture of warm and cold with the fresh ingredients. A real palate mouse. The main court was divided. In other words, after some time we were asked if the pizza of the children should be made first. This has the advantage that we could take care of the children at the beginning without our own food getting cold. Also very lonely and I must confess that I have never experienced it. The pizza is gigantic and incredibly delicious. Although the sauce was very fruity, my husband also found it good. My big son smiles and rubs his belly on the phone. Also the next day and on the return he talked about the pizza. Mama, the pizza in the restaurant that was sooo (again lick it over the lips, smash and rub the belly). Let's go. I think that speaks for itself. After some time we were asked if our food should be prepared. When they were brought to us, they were not as opulent as the appetizer and pizza suspected. A sufficient part, hot and lovingly dressed. The dishes were hot and much more important, the steak was perfectly fried and the carving, although it was thin, not dry. In general, it can be said that the quality of the individual products was high. But the cold kitchen should be a little more trouble at the salad. My only gurke was daumendick and even showed the stunk. Absolut No Go, just like the fact that three leaves were brown in salad. At least the salad leaves come in the upscale kitchen and are probably only in my eye, as I worked for years in the cold kitchen. After a dessert rain we were no longer asked. But that wasn't bad either, because we honestly couldn't bite."

"In general, motivated by the good reviews, by my love for Thai cuisine and by the westernerland border, we controlled the previously reserved SIAM on a beautiful sunny evening. The location outside the tourist mile is always important to me, not too much to fall into the holiday snacks of so many restaurants. And so the SIAM is far from the shot near the Sylter Aquarium. Parking is available in front of the house and in the nearby parking lot of the aquarium. From the outside you can immerse yourself in a cozy, taland-like restaurant. Although we had reserved a table, we could choose a place outside the terrace or in the restaurant. We chose a small, bambuseing niche with a table. We were among us, but had a good overview of the events at the restaurant. Step by step the restaurant was full and a phone order followed the other. The kitchen had a lot to do. Reserves seem to be appropriate here, given popularity. At the entrance we were welcomed by the host nicely and had still free table choice. In the evening we were served by a Thai service in costume friendly, beautiful and precise, always changing a few words. Everything seems very playful, but not invaded and the cordiality of the inn was great for our little son. On the way to the outside we were then kindly handed over by the host Roberto and with a chat. Even if I rarely forgive an outstanding, it must be here again. It's like I wish. Kindness from beginning to end paired with beautiful presence of the host. My son would say at that time, behold, go! Food The map offers everything about Thai classics. For the junior we ordered fried noodles with egg and chicken for 7,20€, for the Mama Massaman Gai for 14,50€ and for Papa Gäng Keow Wan with chicken at 13,80€. Sylter Selter 0,75l at 5,50€, mango juice o,25l at 2,80€ and 0.4l Veltins at 3,70€. As an appetizer still the classic, Sate Spieße with peanut sauce for 7,50€. So expensive ok, although the curry prices are higher than normal filled. Westerland only, increased price level where you are looking. The 4 seed tips were quite large and equipped with well marinated chicken. There was a small cucumber salad and a cabbage. In a small bowl then the highlight, the homemade peanut sauce. Very delicious and recommended. No pampa, but not too little peanuts. The proportion of noodles with egg and chicken was plentiful and so my son fought courageously. Tasteful for me not the very big throw, but OK. The Massaman Gai, i.e. the chicken in coconut milk with potatoes, peanuts and chili and mostly Massaman spice paste was also very abundant. Together with the rice for my better half do not make it. Nonetheless, a fine, well lubricated Thai dish.
