"Loved everything about this place. It's a must-visit.The service was really good. The food and beverages marvelous.The food is alike tapas or pintxos, but bigger sizes. We ordered mussels, apple herring, fish n'chips, and some more. Everything was really good. Flavours, sizes, and the differrence of the stuff to order."

"Apart from the frame, there is unfortunately not much to save; I ordered a combined plate, beautiful promise of great disappointment: eggs not fried at all and barely cooked, fries that are not (frites apples) frozen and very dry, industrial piperade, industrial confite sausage. The cata! Too bad to find this type of cuisine in such a beautiful environment as erretegia, Basque gastronomy is rich enough to be able to offer much more."

"Cycled here from our campsite and decided to go down the hill from the main square in search of lunch. Whilst there were options in the square the menus looked complicated to us and we wanted to translate from a French menu rather than a...Basque one. We chose Uhabia because it had a nice covered terrace and a simple menu. Once inside we were warmly greeted by the staff and quickly shown a table. We chose from the set menu both choosing the calamari beignets followed by blackened pork (similar to a slice of gammon) whilst my husband chose the hake. We followed this with apple slice for dessert. All the food was very good and retained its heat till the last mouthful. If I was being picky the calamari was a little over cooked and the mash that accompanied the hake a little bit too wet for my husbands liking, but that said the apple desert was wonderful and clearly home made!"

"I found several good reviews of this restaurant on the net and so whilst in Biarritz we decided to try it out. The location is in a quiet residential area of town, away from the buzz of the beach, with relaxed locals going about their business. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who was helpful throughout our dinner. The fish soup was excellent and my roast hake with chorizo was fab. Other notable courses in our group were the seafood tagliatelle (fresh), the garlic prawns and the cod cooked Spanish style. We drank a light crisp rose from Provence that was perfect and at 18 Euros was well priced. There was duck and cote de boeuf available for non fish eaters so most bases covered. I would definitely return and recommend this great little restaurant."

"Good food, original dishes, i was invited but loved it. Spanish serrano ham was delicious, followed by pluma de porc grillé risotto aux girolles a great discovery .Service great! Wine very good special reccomendation for the graves 2014. My host told me that the price...was reasonnable. You can patronise it no problem Hendrix Biarritz. I will probably go there again ."
