"A mixture of carpaccio to start, cod fillet and beef steak for mains along with a delicious shared dessert, recommended wine and patient service given our basic French, I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. The food was without fault. It's also unpretentious and has a real warmth to it, which we picked up just walking past, but fully booked for the night on enquiry... and the following night. We fortunately had a third night option and enjoyed the best meal of our holiday. Very worth planning for and booking ahead. Thank you - we'll remember this meal for a long time."

"Through the beautiful town of Pont l'Eveque we came across The au Manoir. The first room is dedicated to glassware. The seating area is dominated by a dining table with fine dishes. My wife wanted to buy the lot. The room doubled as a tea room with a variety of tea cakes and Macaroons. Everything to a high standard for the refrain of Frank Sinatra and Cuban Salsa. The toilet was a pleasant surprise. Visit and you will see!! The owner was so polite and knowledgeable. All about this place is the first rate. Why there is no queue, and the people who hit the door for this oasis of tranquility are a secret. Very enjoyed the time we spent there. Very recommended!!"
