"Went for lunch here yesterday and have to say how amazing it was, we sat outside and they supplied a bowl of water for my dog Buster. Had black pudding, goats cheese and chutney panini followed by the most amazing cheesecake I have ever tasted...... Roasted hazelnut Ferraro. OMG lush is not the word will be back again soon"

"We visited early in the morning around 9.30, cold wet miserable day, we have been before. On entering the place was empty except for 2 people, We were asked, Good Morning can I help, table for 2 please. We were asked, oh have you booked? Erm no. Although it gets quite busy late morning and lunch time as we noticed last visit. We found this funny, but the thing that gets us is how loud and condescending the lady who we think is the Manager speaks to people. ,like she is doing us a favour, it’s very off putting and not the first time. The staff are lovely polite and helpful, so we let it pass, the service is good the food is average nothing special except the cakes which are yummy. This lady doesn’t put us off going but certainly needs taught people skills."

"Really interesting place books galore! new, second hand, antiquarian books. spread over 4 days. there are also music and film. there's a caffeine where we need a little time. incredibly fascinating and will be back. the tullie house museum is located in the same street and is worth a visit. the castle carlisle is located just above the road and the center of carlisle."

"Meet her oscar (mini snauzer crossed west highland terrier) x he I went for a doggy friendly visit at a couple of locations x we had the best time when the caffe had other pooches visit x some dogs run free other on leads x we rehearsals and drink from a good choice menu service was friendly request x it was great 2 b with oscar I will thoroughly recommend this"
