"Found this place randomly on a day trip. Party of 4, we had a burger with Pommes and Coleslaw, and it was shameful. Proper, freshly cooked food from natural ingredients. We enjoyed it. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Would highly recommend, shame that we could no longer stay!!"

"Today we dropped in for some dinner, service is good the food is not so good, I ordered hallumi burger the bread was stale falling to bits , my son ordered the meatballs in a flat bread he enjoyed it but the bread was not fresh either, worse thing is how dirty the place is, go in the toilets and see for yourself,"

"We ordered a chicken corma that is always good, but I wanted something else so I ordered the mixed kebab in a nan brot. it came on the wet salate that cleanse the nan brot and the salat too hot...and not edible! that forced me not to order from here again."

"My food was absolutely ternial I order a triple cheeseburger and large fries my burger had only 2 pates omg I paid 3 willing out my bank an my fries let’s just say they tasted like what my dog done this morning and let just he had the runs defo won’t be back and btw 10p for a bag I don’t think so"

"Every time we come to this pub the manager in his wisdom knocks off the app for ordering at your table , When asked he couldn’t give me a answer only to say order at bar , What’s the point having a app if you can’t use it , Will not return till this stupid issue is sorted or better still replace manager and get one that understands there customers needs a bit better. Not a happy bunny"

"Stumbled across this little cafe in the market today and thought I'll give it a go. I ordered chicken massaman, something I always order whenever I have Thai so I've sampled A LOT. £6 thought wow that's great. Waited about 20 minutes and was only me and one or two others in which confused me but then about 20+ takeaway meals were boxed up and taken in a huge box so that explained that. Clearly a popular place for takeout! I really enjoyed it, one of the best I've had in England and really close in taste to the ones I had in Thailand. I'm glad I live in Barrow in some ways as I would be in here all the time otherwise. Little hidden gem. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Carlisle!"

"Cleaner but dearer. £3.50 towards a meal..... how tight, and then £1.25 just for a cup of tea. Thank you mr stobart, considering your so wealthy. Thanks I will try to avoid in the future. The rich just seem to be so gready"
