"Excellants burger and my court, 'posh beans' was a nice change from the regular lunch farm. the desserts we ordered (chocolate brownie) was excellent. they should not give the opportunity to have a brownie!"

"I've been going to Spags for years and pre veganism, I always got one of two things salmon fettuccini or vegetable lasagne. Very occasionally I would get the beetroot ravioli, which was very nice and also marked as vegan. I recently went back for my first time since making the switch and the beetroot ravioli is GONE! It's a shame because the pasta dishes are really quite basic arrabiata, or ortolana which is basically just another tomato sauce with some peppers and onions in. I did ask for chilli to be added and let me tell you, they were generous with the chillis! It was very nice but I would have preferred something that wasn't really similar to the sort of pasta I'd make at home. I'll continue to return to Spags because it's such a reliable place for a nice, filling meal. But I do hope on the future that they consider adding something a bit sexier to the pasta dishes."

"The restaurant did not have our booking despite confirmation email from opentable that the booking was made. fortunately they had enough space and went on to offer great service and eat for a fairly large group. important to get the reservation right!"

"Beautiful restaurant. friendly staff. good prices especially with the daily offer. beautiful setting and very clean. they also brought a free garlic bread for our table when we first arrived, which was a nice note. the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the music leaves it down. Pop music that spoils the atmosphere would have been for a calmer more chilled music or better some Italian music."
