"Very popular pub. Too many students taking up seats. Had lunch but wasn't impressed with food. Go for a sandwich next. Bottle wine an unbelievable price. £9 99p that made up for my meal."

"I was very impressed by the choice of vegan dishes on the menu I had the sri lanka curry that was amazing. other options were: pasta pasta pasta pasta, a vegan burger, lenses and spinach cake and a sweet chili rice noodle dish that I thought was pretty good. there were 3 desserts that are very unusual. I went for the millionaire shot gold bar with strawberry sauce. they store a very beautiful French vegan white wine. the place lacked an atmosphere and was very quiet for a Saturday night. However, during the university holidays we visited and I suspect that the atmosphere would be better during the runtime. we would definitely go back or try another ember inn somewhere else."

"7 of us from work visited for a birthday celebration, and was not disappointed. The welcome was warm, and the decor was modern and sleek. The service was 1st class, as was the food, and the wine. Set in a lovely location. Reasonably priced, around £50 per head for 3 courses. recommended. ."

"We had a few takeaways recently and I LOVE a good Indian takeaway and all I can say it was Average at best. They forgot the extra Popadom we ordered and the one we had was NOT crispy. Also the Curries do not blow you away. The Starter Tikka Checked was nice. I'm not saying I will never return but I am not in any hurry."

"We recently went there after a days walking for a coffee to check the place out for a later date to go for a meal and i was amazed how people could look and treat you like something you had just trod in. would never ever go again. i think they think the place would be great if there was not any customers getting in the way."
