"Prawn on the lawn is a casual restaurant serving fresh seafood at an affordable price. the service is very attentive and fast. the only part is that it smells a little fishy! the basement seating area is quite small so I would reserve a table before the time. I would suggest the thunfish,- mussels and scallop ceviche."

"I got there at 7 with some friends and the restaurant was not that busy. The staff did their best to make our meal great. I asked to the waiter to suggest some dishes and he did it great. So much seafood and it was all so good, muscles, prawn, clams etc. I am a wine drinker so I asked the waiter to bring us a good red wine and he brought a great bottle and brought a little ice pack to keep it cool. I really enjoyed the night. It was a great dinner especially because was unexpected. Would love to go back to this restaurant"

"I came across a lot of positive reviews for Old Town 97, the year being significant as that was the end of British rule in Hong Kong. We had a late lunch there one Saturday not too long ago. They have a great lunch deal – £4.80 for a dish of rice or noodles with a free bowl of their daily soup. We chose the char siu on fried hor fun which came out looking quite plain but turned out to be some well fried hor fun topped with a generic Asian brown sauce and some quite good sliced char siu. A bit of chili oil (excellent stuff) and it was a great dinner. The accompanying soup (pork bone, carrot and tomato) was a bonus. "Flat iron steak was good but not great, needed more tenderising and seasoning. The rocket salad had a nice dressing and the chips were very good. Service was good, but food took a while to come."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant was not crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"Incredible food, perfectly balanced flavours, spices and heat. You feel the chef has taken a no compromise attitude, but still managed to track a path that will please almost anyone. Decor is chic and understated and the ambiance very relaxed; there's no snobbery here. A mention must also go to the staff and service which was simply excellent. They were all smiles, showed just the right amount of attentiveness and were happy to answer any questions. 5* from me."
