"I visited with my family this week whilst on Holiday. We were recomended this place by locals and all I can say is they didnt dissapoint. The food was incredible. The passion of the team was evident in the way they took the time to converse and tell us about their product. One of the proprioters actually served us and he was a pleasure to speak to and again his passion wss evident. From what I could understand the other proprioter was actually the chef and although we did not meet him again his passion was evident in the food he served us. We were also lucky enough to be there whilst they were doing a test run for an attempt for the british record for biggest burger!!!! They brought it into the restaurant to do some photography and the buzz was phoemominal. Every one got up and was taking pictures of the Man v Food style burger. In short you have to visit. Thanks to all the team at JDs our last day of our Holiday was made by our experience. We Will definately see you next year mr and mrs cartwright..."

"This is a prime site on a constantly busy evening and late night artery for all ages and types out having a good time on the Plain or in and out of town. It’s been here for a very long time. The last four or five years have seen it sink in service and quality. It hangs on because of online trade and passers by, famished folk like us staggering home or folk from the adjacent and nearby bars. The turnover of kebab sales means that you can be reasonably sure that the meat on the roti should be in reasonable condition. The burgers on the grill are acceptable. But they really have to do something about the indifferent service, the sauce mixes, the salads, the wrappings, the seating and the prices all need adjustment and improvement."

"The best kebab place in plymouth! they use correct and healthy meat 5% fat. the owner makes everything from land, all local ingredients and fresh ingredients. three times boiled chips are golden brown, crispy and lush! chicken tastes like kfc. burger is one of the best I have ever eaten. very cheap and very friendly service. must try. this is for real foodie and have good taste with homemade fresh food. yummy, yummy, yummy!"

"A little bit lacking in frequency of drink order taking but it was very clean. There seemed to be plenty of staff so maybe it was just a bit busy. (Edit: they only had one card machine between all the servers so understandable) The food was really nice and arrived at the table quickly once it has been ordered. The bouncer was very kind and accomodating to my disability and through the night made sure everybody stuck to covid rules like wearing a mask when up and making sure people were not being too rowdy and raised voice Overall it was a very enjoyable night and it was a very clean place handled by professional staff (Edit) I lost my phone at the end of the evening and Nicki said that she would let me know if she found it, she did! and my girlfriend picked it up the next day and Nicki wouldn't take my tip even though I insisted and said that she would rather I came there again. Now I will. Extra star added)"

"We had 2 pizzas, huh, spuden and garlic bread. all delivered bang on time, hot and fresh. sohn said his pizza is better than papa john’s, pizza hat etc. would recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you."

"Having infiltrated the Empire the rebel alliance managed to get hold the password which they thought would allow them to order from this kebab house. So with much uncertainty The rebel alliance placed an order “spicy spuds and a burger please” silence came across the kebab house seconds felt like hours. the rebal alliance members looked at each other sweating they both looked back at the staff member at the kebab house, with a look of horror the kebab house server said “ your order is declined it has not gone through “ The rebals realised they had the wrong pastword all is lost."
