"Five star rated and well deserved. Be prepared to wait for few mins as it’s always crowded. We went at 9am and idly was out of stock. Had other items as shown in pics and all food items were awesome. Sambar and chutney reminds of typical south bangalore restaurants. Highly recommended"

"I am staying in shimoga city. Many time visited this restaurant and everyday i got different test, awsome service from restaurant staff and singer.last week i visited with family that was awsome forever my life. I like to come again and again that restaurant bcoz i felt home away from home in restaurant. Especially singar,staff restaurant manager and chef those giving a friendly atmosphere. In my opinion no 1 restaurant in shimoga. People visit and enjoy food and service."

"My recent stay at Jewel Rock Hotel was mostly enjoyable, with just one minor hiccup. The AC room we stayed in was clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They provided excellent room service, and we were able to order food from their menu which included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and the service was prompt. However, the only issue we faced was during our early morning checkout. We had to leave at 5 am, and unfortunately, there was no hot water available at that time to take a bath. This was a bit inconvenient for us, as we had to start our day without a shower. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. It was the perfect base for us to explore the area, and we were able to return to a clean and comfortable room at the end of each day. Overall, I would still recommend Jewel Rock Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the area. The clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, and excellent room service make this hotel a great choice for families or solo travelers. However, if you need to leave early in the morning and require hot water for a bath, you may want to check with the hotel beforehand to ensure that it will be available."

"We had taken 2 special north Indian thali. It cost Rs90-/ per thali. The food was tasty and personal attention was provided. Aloo paratha was good too. I think with family you can visit this place."

"Just to break the routine, this joint is nice alternative! We satiated our sweet tooth on an evening with a range of ice creams. Appeared to be a popular place in the area since we witnessed waves of people marching in at times making it uncomfortable crowded. Sure, good for a change!"

"Good place ambience is good food tastes good staff is well behaved but i had one issue i.e there was not enough room to sit the outlet is quite small compared the customers they handle. Rest is good . I hope in future they relocate to a bigger outlet."
