"I had an opportunity to travel to the temple city Kumbakonam recently with family( of Five members).As the Lunch time was approaching,were on the lookout for a decent hotel,and happened to see the Board near new bus-stand at Tanjavur,and branched to this RAKS hotel.There was a heavy surprise for us.The hotel was pleasant and beautiful.The restaurant was so Nice,all we enjoyed.Very neat and clean.The food quality was excellent.The staffs are so courteous and humble.The final surprise was the price.We never imagined,a fantastic food,in such environment,comes with this low price.Strongly recommend this hotel for the family group.The Hotel located just near by the new bustand at Tanjavur."

"Located in Hotel Raya's in Kumbakonam, you will not realize that this restaurant serves non vegetarian because the boards outside say it is vegetarian. The mystery is solved when you realize that there is a restaurant with the same name serving vegetarian food at the rear of the hotel.The restaurant is dimly lit and from the crowd inside appears to be quite popular. The menu has a large spread of non vegetarian items that are a mix of South Indian, Tandoor, Indo Chinese so there are enough options for meat eaters.The prices are pocket friendly and the taste is decent. If you are a meat eater looking for options in a predominantly vegetarian place this is a good option"

"Good taste. taste of pattukottai non veg food. I liked the idyapam and paya. the inner was different from the usual and colorful. I liked it. we went late at night. about 10 o'clock. Even then the reception and the portion was good."

"During my last visit to Tanjore, my relative suggested this Thevars biryani hotel which is a famous place for non veg items in Tanjore. We had both Mutton and chicken biryani Mutton biryani was priced around 220rs.the Mutton pieces were tender and well cooked. This seeraga samba Biryani had mild aroma with a home style taste. And Quantity provided for more than sufficient for a person. When I posted about the same in my YouTube community page, most people agreed with me, but there were few who argued that this restaurant lost its old taste. Anyways if you are in Tanjore, do try their biryani They have both Ac and non ac seating and it's suited for families too. There is a paid govt parking space just opposite to restaurant, so no worries about parking your car"
