The food was absolutely delicious, the little window to the kitchen to watch the naan being cooked was really cool, and the owner/manager came over himself to make sure everything was to our liking, to which with stuffed mouths we just kept nodding our heads yes "

"We have been going to Pandan since they were in Tawa. As a family who love Malaysia and local food, this restaurant is better than local Malay, we feel so lucky they are only 20 main away from Johnsonville. We celebrate as many of our family occasions here that we can. From the goat curry, to the claypot fish, it is all a heavenly delight. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40"

"Terrible service arrived 5 minutes early to the booking at 8pm and table was not ready so we had to go outside and wait. there was a 55 minute wait on the mains and 40 minute wait on dessert by the time we had finished it was past 10pm. food was great but wasn't at all worth the wait. the bill was super expensive and we felt ripped off. we ended up feeling very disappointed and let down, as we were looking forward to going to a nice restaurant. ive previously worked in hospitality and id be really embarrassed making patrons wait more than an hour for food. not on the wait staff but a pretty bad reflection on management. apart from this, serivce was friendly and drinks were good just a shame that the massive wait times put a damper on the night."

"ZERO star. Last night we ordered pronse briyani , we usually do order 'pronse briyani ' from GR8 Tandoori, but last night was not right person cook. We been so hungry and already told them while order that last time when we order medium hot, they made extra hot that we can 't eat and this time 'pronse briyani ' they cook just full of oil, lots of food color, total 4 pronse its uncooked. Just not happy with them."

"Delicious Indians in the heart of Petone. Most of their main dishes are gluten-free but first check before ordering. Staff and kitchen are known from the best practice for celiac disease and in my experience of eating here, they have always told the kitchen so they also know. So good to have a safe local curry spot!"

"Ordered chicken fried rice was not spicy and the chicken pieces tasted odd as that taste of the chicken comes only when the chicken is the old stock used after expiry date. Rice and the few chopped vegetables tasted okay . Disappointed I could give only 2.5 5."
