"Finally! We move here from Ireland 7 years ago and were yet to find decent ribs my partners favourite food! Ribs here were delicious. Really meaty and fell off the bone. My other half is a very happy man now! :"

"Party of 6, lovely place with very good service. It was busy (The Vic across the road was closed for dinner that night.. and our lights flickered when our time was almost up, reminded me when I used to venture the Pool Room in town., which was kinda funny. Wasn't Wasn't problem though as 1.5hrs was ample time to done and gas bag. Everyone was happy with their burgers and I just loved the Beef cheek pie. Its huge so portion wise it's fantastic! Because of this you may need to ask for more gravy. It was the perfect meal for a cold wet wintery day."

"We went to dinner on a sunday night it wasn't busy but had a good atmosphere. We ordered the Sesame Beef Prawn for entree and it was delicious the sauce was so flavoursome and the beef and prawn were tender. I had the pork trio which was yummy!! The pork belly was the highlight the other two porks were good though and everything else on the plate mixed well my partner had the burger and said it was good overall awesome experience <br/"

"Now situated where HOTROCKS used to be, I used to frequent this place in the early 2000s when it was by New World. At the time, it was the only cafe of its kind in the Lower Hutt CBD so it was popular. I'm glad to see it back, as Lower Hutt is lacking in really good cafes.<br/ <br/ It's nice to see photos of the original Buzz Cafe on the wall.<br/ <br/ Anyhoo ... we went along today with expectations in line with the previous two reviews, but were not as disappointed as we thought we'd be. <br/ <br/ The staff were friendly and attentive and the decor rather nice. We were immediately impressed with the great quality music playing that was not so loud you couldn't hear yourself think it was easy listening classic rock.  It's finally nice to eat breakfast without Salmonella Dub blasting through your eardrums.  <br/ <br/ I had the blueberry creme fraiche pancakes and a pot of tea; hubby had The Buzzer and a mocha. <br/ <br/ My pancakes were fluffy and had a very nice taste the blueberries and creme fraiche abundant, and the maple syrup topped it all off nicely.  Worth $16. I got 3 cups of tea out of my pot, having asked for extra hot water I was pleased there was a sugar bowl on the table. I despise sachets!  I enjoyed my meal very much.<br/ <br/ Instead of the mushrooms, hubby had hollandaise on his eggs he said it had minimal taste. It was a nice touch that the baked beans were served in a small jug so as not to bleed into the rest of the food. His only grumble was that the plates our meals were served on were stone cold. If they had been warmed this review would've yielded a 4. <br/ <br/ We noticed the model of the Kiwiana shake $12 on the counter ... we didn't get one because today we were in breakfast mode ... but will be going back to share one! As it looks very impressive and would be a cute thing to share on a first date :"
