"A mix of both very traditional bakery fare like custard squares and mince and cheese pies, alongside more modern options like almond croissants and steak and blue cheese pies. The Portuguese Tart is a favourite for me. It has to be said that the steak in their steak pies is nice and tender, unlike the Patrick's pies I've had recently that nearly broke a tooth."

"I must say, as a native Southern Californian, seeing Mexican food served at a Buddha themed tiki bar in New Zealand had me suspicious for the quality of the Mexican food. I spoke with the owners however and found out that they too were from Socal and started this business due to the lack of good Mexican food in New Zealand. I must say the food did not disappoint. Not only that the vegan options were plentiful, and quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy to enjoy the fare. Food took a while because it was so busy (live music brought a lot of people) but other than that everything was on point. We even got a visit by the friendly cat named Rainbow who decided to take a nap under our table."

"Came here with 7 friends on a girls night, Great seating on a square table so we could all talk, and our waitress was the bomb friendly and chatty perfect service, stunning cheekbones : !<br/ <br/ The food was good I had pork belly and the downside was it was a bit fatty maybe it needed to be twice baked, and the lamb rack (which I did a swap with was a little rare. Came with mash and veges, and we'd all had few wines by then so I can't really remember what else. The meals were big (for girls! None of us managed to finish the pork belly! I know the seafood meal and vege meal were spoken of well. Not BYO, but great selection of wines."

"What on earth! They hid this place well. Seriously one of the best and well rounded menus I've seen for years. Great value, great food, great service. These guys go to show it can still be done well if it's not waterfront flash dining. Highly recommended!!"

"This delightful cafe is truly amazing.. Charlene and her staff are always happy to see you and provide the best service..Her cook has provided a selection of unique delicacies that are full of flavour and good for you too I'm sure! the coffee is arguably the best in Wilson road shops as well!!"

"We really enjoyed the dinner. 1 child, 2 teens and 3 adults. There was no complaints. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. I had the steak meal and tried a bit of the Salmon. My steak was cooked to perfection and the Salmon just melts in your mouth. Beautiful flavours I took my little dog and we sat outside. Our waitress who was awesome brought her out treats. Nothing was problem. The other 2 adults i went with are chefs and they really enjoyed their meals. Definately worth going here. We will be back"
