"Took advantage of a Grabone voucher and had high tea with bubbles as a weekend treat. The restaurant was busy with big tables occupied, however we had a lovely table for two overlooking Wellington.<br/ <br/ The glass of bubbles arrived promptly and soon after the tea trolley with a lively assortment of teas. The food then arrived and it was lovely, presentation was stock standard high tea form but everything was fresh and delicious. The only bone I would pick is the sausage rolls were not hot.<br/ <br/ We were offered tea refills often and the person on the tea trolley was fabulous, very helpful and welcoming. <br/ <br/ Would come back for sure!"

"Faster, friendly service and tapas/street were really nice. we were so full that after home we had a Doggy bag, it was Thursday squat at night so ultra busy, would suggest a booking to avoid disappointment on a Thursday, but the personal would always try to put it anyway."

"Been there several times and never had to make a booking, they always managed to accommodate us. One of the staff members is exceptionally helpful and friendly, he helped find us a table inside once because it was quite cold outside. The others are also very friendly and never try to rush you with orders.<br/ <br/ There is an awesome bartender who asked my friend how she likes her martinis before making it. He explained to her all the options after she told him what flavours she likes. He then proceeded to make a customised martini for her and when he brought the drink over he explained what exactly was in it.<br/ <br/ The tapas are also amazing and we did not have to wait long for them. I would definitely go back there every now and again for the great service and the atmosphere."

"Well. impressed. loved the kumara wedges made by Drew the chef of the night. Must say as a kumara chip/wedges lover these were exceptional. Matched wonderfully with the dark beer on tap made by a Miramar company, chocolate orange vibe... had to get two as... yummy!!! Double Vision Brewery... Have to go back just for those freakin kumara wedges. yum!!!! loaded fries were meh. Popcorn chicken was ok. Service was great. Newbie serving us was lovely, did a good job. Like the art deco decor, comfy padded seating was a win. Also noted a wobbly patron... the serving staff said 'thats his last one ' for drinks to the bar staff. Appreciated the attentive service and keeping everyone safe. Happy night. Like the vibe."

"Just stopped in for a beer after a game of golf, great relaxing establishment with a range of craft beers on tap. A bit pricey but pretty standard amongst wellington establishments. Good, not great. 4 stars"

"This unorthodox hidden gem is a well known secret and is located right behind campus. Coincidence? Went in with a group of friends on a regular Friday looking to be amazed and we were after seeing the quirky decor. The whole Fidel Castro, Cuban theme running through Wellington at the moment, you know the one. Anyway after being shocked by the length of the menu we decided on some Sangria to share as well as a few Hasta Mananas because they were so close to my name that I ended up folding because of it. The cuban cigar based concoction although left us $28 a glass lighter, the whole experience was (almost) worth the price. After our expensive cocktails we choose one other and I picked flowerbomb which was delicious and affordable. Overall the waitstaff are really quick and seem to know when you're thirsty, also not a coincidence. I love this place and I do recommend it if you're wallets bloated."
