"A pub that targets HIMYM fans...<br>

The series may have wrapped up, but the legacy is alive and well... This pub borrows it's name from the infamous hangout of the gang of HIMYM. It doesn't look like the set, but you do see some references to the show. I just wish they dialed up the memorabilia and appealed to the fandom much more. Takes more than just the name to allude to a pop culture phenomenon. <br>

We enjoyed our drinks last night--mine was two orders of the amaretto sour while my friends tried the margaritas and tequilla sunrises. I enjoyed my cocktail. <br>

Service was very slow and the al fresco area needs a little bit more "fresco". More fans please! <br>

"Our kids aka "the piggery" are gelato/ice cream fiends.<br>

It has long been a habit of the family that after our Sunday lunch in hopefully a newly discovered restaurant, we go for gelato/ice cream, dessert or coffee.<br>

DQ or Dairy Queen is a favorite ice cream haunt. For a while, it was Gelatissimo too either in Greenbelt or Shang.<br>

We were in Shang last Sunday. Gelatissimo was no longer in the mall so we tried Morelli's.<br>
<br>
There was also free taste just like in Gelatissimo but the comparison ends there. The piggery was unanimous in their observation that Morelli's ice cream was not as flavorful and not as creamy as Gelatissimo.<br>

Their people manning the scooping station were warm and cheerful. Their spot was bright and welcoming with cozy tables. Sad though that their ice cream fell short of our expectation. We may be back though to try their fancy banana splits, etc. They intrigue and beckon ????
