"Nothing like two things Filipinos do best food and humor. Sagul, Malingap Street’s latest food park to open, houses a unique food booth that could fill your belly and may make it hurt from laughing at the same time.
Walastik Grill serves a selection of food that can give you value for money. It specializes in grilled offerings as you can tell from their tagline “Inihaw Iniwhere”.
They serve Filipinos' permanent cravings like Isaw, Barbecue, and Liempo.
I tried their Walastikada Premium platter which can fill up to four people or more if everyone is like me. It comes with four cups of rice too. Their menu item names are just as good Uy Chix Isaw, Liempogi, Chix BB-Cute, and Bae-con BBQ. Serving and portions are great as well. Perfect for the big Filipino appetite. Even better with a cold beverage.
Get a good laugh and full belly in Walastik Grill in Sagul with some real bonding with friends or family over beloved Filipino grilled fare."

"I chased to Kare Wars and when I saw that they had one, I decided to buy there. I was even impressed because the staff that helped me wore a cook uniform. She said that one portion of it is good for two. I forgot how much it was, but it was under 200php for a bowl plus rice. they even gave a free Bulalo soup. I only realized that I made a mistake to order there. first there is only a small piece meat and a bit trip. the rest was only edible sauce and a few sweets that no longer look fresh. the banan blossoms are already darkened. I tried to sipe the free suppe, but it was very salty."

"My wifey and I have been meaning to dine here long time ago, and one night we did.

Parking was limited but there were people outside (not from Pepeton's though) who'd assist you for a street parking. The place is big and it has a smoking and non-smoking area. We were seated at the non-smoking area and at the time there were lots of people, and place was kind of busy. We have got no problem in terms of service despite the busy night.

We ordered for a Sinigang na Bangus Belly, Pinakbet Ilocano, and of course, the one we were salivating about, the Kapalmuks!

The serving size was actually good. Big enough to feed 3-4 people. However, the Sinigang and Pinakbet did not meet up my expectations. Belly was not actually a bangus belly buy just pieces of boneless bangus. Worst part was the taste of the fish. We were kinda sensitive with the "gilik" and it tasted like that. Pinakbet was just okay. I was hoping for a better one. But... Our visit wasn't... read more"

"The meat on the ribs was tough. I feel that diners will--for an inexpensive BBQ ribs meal--overlook things like cold rice, plating or presentation, the half-teaspoon of peas and carrots for that pop of color on the plate. But you have to nail that tender fall-off-the-bones quality of the meat.

There are other items on the menu that I wanted to try but weren't available last night. I'll have to return another night to try the other dishes.

facebook.com"

"Okay, I hate food parks. They are crowded, loud, overpriced, overrated and most of the time their food sucks.

But then there are a couple of exceptions like the House of Chili on the sixth. To be clear - it's also the only decent booth in this food park (and seriously, why is the food in food parks so damn bad?).

That it's in a food park is a big downer. It's just so hard to talk to friends and enjoy the food when the music is so loud and people are walking and talking all around you. (We hope that one day they will get their own place)

But then they make up for it with their exceedingly delicious and affordable food! Your Bulalo was a dream! The meat was so tender and the broth was bursting with umami. Their crispy pata was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They also combine their dishes with their special garlic and chili sauce.

If you love Filipino food give this place a try. Affordable and Delicious - Great, Great ... read more "
