"The worst restaurant experience of my life! first we booked a table and we had to wait as there was no free table (sic then, we were informed that no seafood is available and then a few were served next to us. To...ours complain the waiter accuses my partner not to understand while he is a native! garnel and lobster were pretty hard, just passed his perfect moment. at the end they presented us a reception with the price of the lobster for exactly 1kg up to a program, and if we asked for weight loss, how it is normally presented automatically in a decent restaurant, we were advised that we must trust that inadvertently the lobster weighs exactly 1000g (I mean, what are the chances?! instead of trying to solve the situation he wants to suffer!"

"We were taken to this specialist seafood restaurant by local friends. Amazing array of fresh fish and seafood. We started with shellfish - the clams cooked with garlic and coriander were plump and delicious, prawns huge. A sea-baked seabass fed 7 of us - melt in the mouth delicious. The dessert trolley is the richest, most extensive range of traditional desserts we've encountered in Portugal so far - but so good! We also learnt that the reason for all the local egg-based patisserie is because the egg whites were used for fining the wine. The yolks were given to the convents, who produced the range of custardy desserts and natas we now enjoy :)"
