"We found this restaurant through our tourist-guide nad we were glad to have been there. We sit in a wonderful garden, it was like a hidden place in Obidos. There was one, very kind and experienced, waiter and the food was great: there were not many dishes on the menu but they were very particular and based on the traditional portoguese food.I must suggest the ginjinha, it was delicious!"

"Stumbled across this little place for a drink and discovered that they made fabulous bread rolls loved by the locals. They were flying out the door. We tried the chorizo but the pork rind looked fabulous too."

"Toca de monge is a unique coffee house next to obidos. the hotel is located in the closed garden of the monastery. the terrace has an olive tree that protects it from the shade during sunny days. eating is amazing as well as crying. it is a shame that this beautiful place is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. o and they have great wlan"
