"Went on our last night in Alvor, read lots of positive reviews and wasn't disappointed. Service was very good and quick, really welcoming waitress and waiter. Food was really good quality and was plenty of it, I had the medium ribs (which is actually quite big) and my grown up son had the chicken curry. Both of us really enjoyed our meal. Really good place to come If there was any slight suprise, it was how quiet the restaurant was at 8:30 on a Saturday evening, quite possibly because it was the last sat of the Easter hols and a lot of the Brits would have gone home."

"This place looks a little strange. more like a canteen in a factory. it is a self-service restaurant with limited choice, but eating is surprisingly good and the prices are low. they can choose fish or meat - this is fresh and grilled before them. Rice/potatoes cooked vegetables. it is a full plate eating for 6 7 eur."
