"On the outside this cafe/bar/restaurant is undistinguished and long may it remain so! It 's a little gem on the outskirts on São Bras and run by a delightful husband and wife. There is an outside seated area and additional tables in a modern interior. At...the tables there is a selection of magazines and even a small 'biblioteca '. The ambience is what makes this place it is relaxed and unpressured. The staff are friendly and speak good english. There are a range of offerings but I would recommend the tosta mista and the ice cream some of which is made on the premises. In the evenings it is relaxed with a mixture of local portuguese and expats and it seems to stay open until the last one leaves. I really don 't want this place to become too popular as I always want to get a table either on my own or with friends. Frankly, I don 't know another place quite like it. But don 't go there please!"

"Now that I'm getting to know the local here, SWEET has been my favorite cocktail bar. Bruno the proprietor is definitely a cool dude and knows how to mix things up with a nice selection of music alongside a great bar menu with quality gins and vodkas and the right mixes to keep you coming back. The summer patio is quaint and seems to be family friendly. Well done Bruno! I'll back again and again!"

"Arrived just before they shut and were still served - the only positive,(had a drink a few days ago sat out in the sun in the square and it was lovely) so we fancied another G&T before dinner. So disappointing! We were served in a plastic pint glass containing a lot of ice, some lemon and tonic, unfortunately the gin was missing. We were not the only people to be missing the gin - normally I wouldn't be one to complain however the other people who had joined me in drinking tonic said they had already tried and failed. Finally, we left our drinks and went for dinner. Happy to discuss this with the server (he disappeared as soon as he saw us speaking with other disgruntled customers) if he would like to. We don't expect much just a 'proper' G&T or a reimbursement if the gin is running low. It's a shame as the Portuguese are amazing but this experience made me feel as if the gentleman/establishment thought they could take advantage of tourists..."
