"We were there last Monday night, not busy at all in the restaurant. Waiter was friendly and offered us a seat by the window overlooking the ocean and the flag plaza nearby. The brews were nice and cold, befitting the name of the restaurant (cervejaria). My wife enjoyed her vegetable soup and couvert, but the striploin steak was the worst steak I 've ever had in my life. The first red flag was when I had great difficulty cutting through the middle of the steak as I usually do. The steak was all fatty and sinewy. I could only swallow two of the first six or so bites of the steak while spitting out the rest after chewing through them, before bailing out on the rest of the steak. The server didn 't ask how the food was until after I had put my napkin and utensils on top of the plate for it to be taken away. By this point, I was ready to bail on the restaurant and said ok to be polite as I didn 't want to be offered something else and have to stay longer."
