"Have been giving a thought of visiting here for a while and knowing it's closing for renovation/upgrades soon pushed me to reserve a seat for a special occasion today and it didn't disappoint. Atmosphere and service was excellent. Had to specifically request my main meat dish to be well done due to my special diet and it's still juicy and soft. Definitely recommended to drop by here if you haven't. Staffs were extremely friendly and we really enjoyed our time there. A wonderful end to the evening."

"I made reservation 7 days ahead and yet we were given a table right at the exit/entrance to the outside dinning. Servers were going in and out the door, without any care to close the door behind them and they wasn't loaded with stuff on their hands. We were interrupted many times during the meal to get up and close the door."

"Exquisite dining environment, especially when seated at the bar to watch the spectacle of your delicious meal being put together and drinks being made by mixologists. Modern Spanish is what I’d call this with fresh ingredients and very complementary flavours on every plate. The drinks menu is very extensive and everything in this place is well put together. No surprises it requires advanced booking."

"The quality of food never fails and it is still so fabulous. The viola wine is fat, but the fats are so beautiful. Once it's in the mouth, it melts so well and it's fabulous. The rest is amazing! Love it! Will definitely return and eat more."

"Authentic Peranakan food and a notch above most places serving Peranakan cuisine. Sambal and achar were nicely done. Ngor hiang had good bite and texture to it, with crispy outer layer. Beef rendang full of flavour and rather lemak. The ikan masak assam gulai had lovely nuances of flavour. Otak otak was authentic. Kueh pie tee was a letdown though, without much taste and the pie tee shells were soft. Chendol had nice gula melaka quality though it was packet coconut milk used. Overall service was excellent."

"Had dinner on a weekday evening and it was pretty quiet and cosy. The service is attentive and polite. For the food, the slow-braised straw beef ribs was just out of the world! I’m generally not a fan of braised meat but this one was very enjoyable. I also loved the signature combination and the salted fish fried rice. Not all the dishes were a hit but those that I’ve mentioned are good enough for me to return again :"
