"While the food is fresh and made with healthier oils than standard Chinese joints, the prices are just too high and portions too small for it to be a good value. I want to come back but probably won't because it's just not a good value. They also forgot about our order so it ended up taking awhile to get our food. Since it's a counter order joint, we wished we hadn't tipped up front."

"We had something to do in El Cerrito and wanted to sit a comfortable place and had snacks and drinks. We found Tala on the map and wanted to try. We had salami sandwich, cinnamon toast, banana strawberry smoothie and oolong ice tea. Everything was good! We liked their menu and a beverage list. There were many people sitting with their devices because there was free Wi-Fi. The service was also great. And they have a reward card. You get a free drink when you get 10 stamps. We're coming back!"
