"The food was hot and fresh and very tasty. Fresh food was brought out continually while we were eating. The restaurant was busy, which to us indicates the food must be good. The price for the lunch buffet with a beverage was $11.95, which is reasonable for what you get. As people like to comment about the restroom, the ladies room was very clean and well stocked. We would recommend this Chinese Buffet."

"Went in at 3:15 to buy a birthday cake where you can see the lady behind the counter with the cakes. The male manager rushed over and said they are closed. I said there is another cashier ten feet away and he said they don’t know the price when it is clearly marked on the cake! He refused to budge and I was shocked and hurt. I have been going there for over 15 years to get all my cakes but never again. One manager that thinks about his power rather than customers has ruined all my loyalty. Other places rated higher on cakes but I WAS loyal. Take your business to stores that want repeat customers and loyalty. They will have reasonable management in place that represents their way of doing business."

"Ponchos Villa has wonderful rice. It is a favorite Mexican cuisine for the locals here in Anchorage. The servers are always friendly and helpful. We enjoy coming as a family. The salsa and chips are amazing."

"First visit to Panchos – the best Mexican food we had arrived in Anchorage since June 2021. A TON food for $13 $15 per duck is definitely reasonable. Strawberry nachos with melted shredded cheese this is one thing that we do not quite adapt any Queso Dip BUT that was quite good. Good taste, chips were crispy and balanced with fresh toppings excellent! The ground beef enchiladas, beans and rice were also much more than enough for two people. The only thing I would change is that there was no salsa coming with the order. I read that they had asked great salsa who were otherwise ingenious. Thank you."

"Food and service was great! Eat in panchos for the first time and we were not disappointed. We had no time to make pictures of the other courts we ordered. The smell was so good and we were super hungry when the food was served. Beautiful environment and beautiful but simple Mexican furnishings. If you love Mexican, look at the place."

"Large cheese selection, delicious sandwiches and a cool location in the georgia blue art gallery! I used to visit her location in South Anchorage when they were just a cheese business, but not in much after they moved to spenard and now midtown. that is my loss, because their new space and sandwich offers are amazing. I tried the avocado melt and loved it: perfectly roasted sourdough bread contained the perfect proportions of cut avocado, Roma tomatoes, provolone dulce, pickled red wobble and garlauchaioli. can't wait to eat here again!"
