"Years back, in about 2000, 2001 we loved to go dimming and attractive pfeffer mill, which was tastefully decorated. the steaks were amazing, tho I don't care much for red meat I know if I have something big on my teller. Since then we moved away from anchorage. Recently we went back and had peppermill on our “to-do” list and could not believe the makeover! they have changed their audience of people who enjoy quality restaurants, to those who are looking for a sports diner/bar. I could have lived with the makeover, but eating was far to wish. now it is on the “never-again” list."

"The food is good, but the service is not good at noon. We have ordered lunch to go many times, and the food really enjoyed. So last week, my wife and I decided to go to dinner. Big mistake. We sat immediately and gave menus. No water. It was pretty busy, but the waiters wouldn't even look at us. We waited for more than 20 minutes and not even a look. I tried to flag a waitress on a glass of water so I could take a pill for a headache, and it was as if they were actively looking away when they died. It was very disappointing. After 30 minutes we left without anyone noticed. The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. My advice: order."
