"This place was a great start to the bachelorette party! The tasting room is small and separate from the main house, only our party and the waiter were occupants for the 2-3 hours we were there. Great ambiance and seating arrangements! It was very comfortable and laid back. Only con is the lack of food options so make sure you’ve had a meal before spending time tasting wines. Many of our party ordered wine tasting flights which were 3 glasses. The staff was very knowledgable about each wine as he poured our glass. I will definitely be returning when I visit Austin again!"

"I have been going to the Hoffbrau since the late 70's. It is my favorite place to go for my birthday or special occasion. Reasonable prices and great steaks. Always cooked just as your order it. I often dream about the salad, it is that good. Least we leave out the large fry's. Take one of those and dip it in the juice from your steak and you will find it heavenly."

"Was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've had! I got the Philly cheese steak grilled cheese with bacon on it! The bread was prefect. Was SO good. The owner was super nice and friendly. I only wish they were open more often. (Went during covid and everything was also socially distanced and contactless don't forget to pre order online)"

"Went there to celebrate a family birthday recently. We were happy to find we arrived in time to enjoy happy hour prices. Very nice menu, lots of interesting variety. We had Spanish Olives, Ahi Tuna Tartar, Brussel Sprouts, Baked Cauliflower, Pork Ribs and a Seafood Paella. Everything was tasty and served fresh. Service was great and it was an good choice for our celebration."

"I just tried to order an Italian BMT and was really looking forward to it. Sadly the young lady that was preparing my sandwich was not aware of the ingredients. She started to put bacon on my sub and I said I 'm sorry there is no bacon on a BMT. She was super confused and argued that maybe i meant a Spicy Italian? Ummm...that sandwich also does not have bacon. After a long pause where she stared at me in confusion I realized that I would not be enjoying a delicious Italian BMT today. I 'm sad. And hungry now. ?"
