"Maybe some of the other foods in this restaurant taste amazing, but I do not recommend the Wood-Grilled Fruits De Mer for Two, this thing costs me $130 and it is not worth it in my opinion. Some of the oysters and shells taste fun, the crab claws (can be frozen) are tasteless. Not to mention the lobster is definitely not a 2 pound. We had a 2 pound lobster in Portland the day before, the size of the lobster that was served today looks like a baby compared to that we used to eat. Clams is the only one that tastes good, but overall I felt like demolished with the quality of food she serves us today. (2 stars for service, 0 for food)"

"We got the naked lobster roll. The portion size was good and came with a side of butter to dip with. We also got sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like those way too much salt in the sweet potato fries. Coleslaw was a bit bland. So I ended up dipping my sweet potato fries and coleslaw to balance it out. Service was okay but I guess it's a busy day especially on weekends. The view was pretty good, easy access definitely helps."

"That is a Chinese restaurant, no chinatown authentic Chinese restaurant. any assessment should keep this in mind. my man and I recommend china joys summer menu for Chinese tourist. we like many things from their regular menu, especially their muddy dishes. but the menu for Chinese tourist has interesting seafood offerings and several dishes appealing to Chinese customers who give every customer a unique opportunity to taste dishes as close to authentic as possible in downeast maine. we enjoy china joy!"

"A decade ago, I ate Tapas for the first time while in Madrid for work. About four years ago, I ate at my first tapas style restaurant in the States. Now tapas style restaurants seem to be increasingly more common. Typically, they have been a mixed bag for me. I usually end up wishing I had larger portions of a singular dish, or just end up being displeased with everything as they focus on presentation over flavor. At other places, waiters seem to suggest eating more tapas per person in an attempt to force a larger bill. That was not the case with CIAO. At the suggestion of our waiter, we selected five dishes. Each dish was both beautifully presented and full of flavor. Dessert was likewise excellent. At the end of the meal, we were very satisfied. CIAO is now my favorite restaurant in Bar Harbor, ME. "We were greeted by friendly staff who quickly created a seating for us on a busy holiday weekend. We had a new waiter who was incredibly kind and helpful in helping our family pick food and drink. The pork belly sliders were delicious as an appetizer. Our kids tried some of the local root beer and blueberry soda and loved it. I wish we had asked how much the lobster rolls cost as they were very pricey-but overall very tasty as well. The place is a bit noisy but fun and with good, positive-energy overall. Not all places locally were very welcoming of a party of 5 for dinner so very much appreciated this place's welcoming and delicious atmosphere."
