"They really do know how to prepare and cook a steak here. Their carne asada dinner is excellent, I highly recommend it. I was served a Carne Asada portion that was very large. It was thick, tender, moist, and delicious. I had to share with my husband it was so much). The Milanesa dinner was great, too. The breaded steak was large and took up the whole plate and then some. It was cut thicker than most places nice and crispy on the outside, and fork tender on the inside). Both their salsas are excellent. You still get a free sopita while you wait for your food if you come for lunch during the work week). The chicken enchiladas in mole poblano are excellent. The chicken tasted fresh. It was moist, tender, and seasoned well. They didn't go overboard with the cheese like a lot of places do. The steak tampiqueña was delicious, I got it medium, and it was cooked to perfection. It's a thick, tender, nice sized steak. Their beans and rice are pretty good too, chilaquiles are pretty good, especially if you like them crispy they can sometimes go overboard on the cheese, though). They also have good coffee, flan and tres leches cake. The bathroom was roomy, clean, and had a changing table. The service was excellent. The prices have gone up, but they're still very reasonable considering the portion sizes."

"Being my first visit to Ruth's Chicago location, I was hoping to be surprised. If anything, it was consistent with the other Ruth's Chris' around the world The wine menu was heavily laden with top end expensive wines while lacking in the lower end name recognizing brands. The Shrimp Cocktail while "good" seemed to be light in terms of the number of shrimp compared to most other restaurants serving the usual five. The Potato Leek Soup was good and the Lettuce Wedge while generous, needed additional Island Dressing. The Filet (while wanting the smaller was served the larger) looked more like a Ribeye than the traditional "Filet". Flavor was "ok". The Blackened Scallops while not defined as Blackened in the menu and seemed to come prepared in the way the chef wanted to prepare them. Disappointing and should have been more defined as a "special". The Shoestring Potatoes while generous were more like grated potatoes very thin shoestrings. Lastly, the Duo of Chocolate cake was slightly over done and more like a chocolate cake than a molten dessert cake. While good in taste, it was not what was expected Service by our waiter, Jordan, was very good. Attentive and ensuring that the guest doesn't need anything. Water glasses were constantly filled If you are looking for a steak place that is consistent from location to location, Ruth's Chris is your McDonald's of the steak world"

"Dined here on Labor Day and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere, ambiance and customer service were terrific! The steaks are high quality, wine list is extensive and cocktails are top notch. All in all, it was a bit pricey, but well worth the splurge!"

"Perfect restaurant for a romantic evening or special occasion! Dim lighting, white tablecloths, live pianist and simple decoration. The waiting staff was dressed in suits and loop ties, which was also a nice touch. For dinner I had a pomegranate martini, Dream Berry martini, Shrimp cocktail, Chilean seabass, Lobster potatoes, sautéed Broccoli Flares and the famous mastro?s butter cake. Although the Seabass was entrenched with herbs, spices and Parmesan cheese, the fish was quite bland. Otherwise everything else was absolutely delicious, especially the Lobster potatoes. I would recommend a nice evening in town, definitely worth a try!"
