"I went for the first time the other day and I have a lot of bread/Pan de dulce. I came home (I am 5 minutes away) made some coffee for my family (all Mexicans) and myself. we all sat down and ate our pan. all 6 of us agreed that the pan was not fresh and it was hard. the conchas were hard, the maranito and other pans. the empanadas were okay. the cookies were hard. not the freshest brot at all and I was disappointed. it is a beautiful small place and the Pan presentation looks good, but we were all excited to try this new place and, I will not recommend this place and I will stay at el rio market on hampton jefferson for our entire family pan needs."

"Went if for a quick lunch. I was craving tacos and I saw they had $1.25 tacos. I went in not expecting much. Its definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. Staff was nice and it was clean. Tacos were surprisingly good and not tiny $1 tacos. Caritas and barbacoa were great and served with grilled onions and jalapeños. Definitely going back."

"The concierge staff at SSOL: My day starts off pretty pleasant as I walk out of the building and Lisa R. (one of the women concierge employees say Have a great day Ms. Sanders, or Enjoy your day. Or when Derrick G. piggybacks and say We 'll see you when you get home. He often greet us returning with a Welcome Home attached to his smile. It 's a nice feeling to be welcomed home after a long day 's work. The best part, is it feels genuine and not part of the job duties. Marcus E. and David H., I can 't forget them. As the veterans at the desk (or as for as long as I 've been a residence they are a true asset to the SSOL community. The manner in which they go beyond to assist, at the door, desk, mailroom, elevators, business office and when we had a library (BTW did we just get rid of it all together or was it moved? I can say, I 'm sure is above and beyond there position description. Richard, I 've seen a slight change in him, since I first moved in and he has come around and is a bit more pleasant than at first. I can understand his pain sometimes as he is often working the wee hours of the morning shift. But his have a good night/morning after I come in from a night of singing/performing are cool. There are others and some new faces that are growing into their own at SSOL, but I wanted to point out those that standout. Take care of the people and the people will take care of you, I 've heard the older generation say."
