"Raul was our server...excellent customer service and attentiveness. Broth and Popovers light fresh and yummy. Warm incredible chicken salad.. Today on my birthday...the buffet was amazing. All types of delicious fresh salads. Cold and hot salmon...scrumptious. creamy potatoes, yummy sweet potatoes. Fork tender prime rib with creamy sauce. Truffle Ravioli...light and fresh. Turkey and flavorable dressing, lamb chops, creamy velvety baked macoroni and lots more including pita with pimento. Such a treat....we drank cosmos...which were a great pairing to our meal. Cake all moist and so tasty...we had all three...chocolate chip, white vanilla and chocolate. This day spent at Neiman Marcus downtown Dallas was incredible and a treasured event. We really appreciate the entire staff....Sandra"

"A cool spot, hidden in the Design District. The menu is fairly broad. Lots of flavors displayed throughout, and the food definitely reflected it. My experience was pretty good, but not extraordinary, and that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I may come back, but only because I live walking distance and it's aesthetically pleasing. May even be worthy of 4.5 stars but that isn't an option. Definitely check it out and form your own opinion!"

"Nice and easily accessible park near downtown with a few play and exploration areas for kids. There's also a water fountain play area that's nice for cooling off in the heat and a small amphitheater for concerts and plays. Some really good food trucks line both sides of the park that are worth exploring and a Mi Cocina sit down restaurant as well."

"We felt like we were in a bar, not a restaurant. Sambuca's has an identity crisis...be a bar or a restaurant or separate your restaurant from the bar. It was soooo dark (including the terrible black walls! we couldn't read our menus or see our food once it arrived. The singer was wonderful but we were there to eat and have a business dinner not listen to music. The waiter was not very skilled or knowledgeable about the menu though he was nice. The food was just okay. I had the chicken which was extremely over-salted. Overall, too much money, too much noise, not enough light and not conducive for a professional dinner. It's a bar, not a restaurant and should be promoted as such."
