"This restaurant is the best! I'm from Chicago and good food is hard to find here. I have gone to so many restaurants only to be disappointed. Purple Onion did not disappoint. I had a gyros with vegetable sides. The pizza slices are huge. The prices are reasonable. They serve breakfast too. Family owned. They are very nice. It's a comfortable atmosphere. There are televisions plus a bar. I would recommend to everyone."

"Chili dog was pretty good, wings were good but not different from a regular wing place. Chili cheese fries were tasty. Service was excellent. Parking is available at a pay by the hour lot across the street but be prepared to be hassled by downtown people. Parking also available in a garage next door and street with meters."

"I ordered 6 tacos. They wanted $16 tax which would be almost $20! From a little hole in the wall spot?? I just came back from Mexico, where I was spending 1.25 for 5 of the most delicious tacos you'll ever eat. There's absolutely no way this place's tacos are near that good. $2.75 for one small taco that will be gone in two, maybe three bites? You're ripping yourself off if you pay that."

"E-Bar was great. Hot tortilla chips Big salsa. Had a drink called “melt down” it is a margarita with some kind of alcohol up! It was amazing! Order beef enchiladas Order chicken and shrimp fajitas w/flour tortillas. The shrimps were big, I cut them and laid my tortilla. The Fajitas came with onions paprika sour cream pic de gallo cheese they give you four tortillas warm and fresh! When I tell you the Fajitas were amazing! Everything from salsa my drinks and food was amazing. Great customer service too! I will definitely return!"

"This restaurant was not at all what I expected. We had some friends visiting that had brought their dog, so we thought this would be a great place to meet and catch up. We couldn't have made a better choice. It was laid back, pooch positive, and the staff was fantastic. The outdoor heaters were a big help on a chilly evening, and the cocktails were excellent. All of the food was fresh and tasted house made. This restaurant has jumped to the top of my goto list! Tip: The valet parking makes it easy to park right in front of the restaurant, and not have to navigate the tricky street parking around it."

"Love this place! Got a very awesome 70's dive bar vibe. Plenty of space there too. Most of it is outside and/or subject to the elements. So if it's cold, rainy, or really hot, dress appropriately. I got the 1/2 pound burger with blue cheese and a side of fries and it was really good. I forgot to tell them I wanted it medium rare so I got it medium instead (my bad). Also, not a lot of choices for spirits or beer, although they carried a few good local beers which I had. I knocked off 1 star for the lack of spirits and beer. I definitely recommend this place though! Cheers!"
