"I asked for a recommendation since I don’t drink coffee often (have been to Starbucks maybe 3 times this year). I ordered a tall, and my only request was simple, sweet and caffeinated. I wasn’t asked, nor requested any add ons, nor wanted anything complicated. Again, I ordered a tall. Once I drive off I’m looking at this small $7.05 cup of coffee looking at it like wow Starbucks is really charging over $7 for coffee.. it didn’t sit right with me and realized they also never gave me a receipt. I call them to be told the reason it was $7 was because of “modifications” you would think they would at least offer you such “modifications” or at least let you know they’re adding to your drink so you as the customer can decide if you want to pay double the price. I’m told by a Jacky “ I can’t control the prices” when all their tall drinks on their website are around $3 lol. I went back to get a refund they took their $7 tall drink back, and it baffles me that they still tried to justify charging me that much for a tall. $7 dollars isn’t much but no xtra small cup of coffee is worth that. You could have recommended any other drink on your menu since I’m sure most are sweet and caffeinated but instead decided to be petty and “modified” a drink to be $7, for what? Is Starbucks now offering commission for how much sell a day?"
