"5 stars is not enough for this Diamond in the rough. They are not always super busy, but that adds to the Masterpiece that is Chef Paul. To start, his 100 year old mother still comes out and takes care of the customers, always pushing you to eat more (like a good Italian mother should), she even turned a few chairs into a bed and brought out a pillow for our 7 year old who was super tired and falling asleep before we got there. Our waitress Nadine was excellent and took care of anything we needed. The Chef (Paul) comes out to your table to personally tell you the specials and returns after you get your food to make sure you like it. At the end he brings all the ladies in your party a beutiful rose and upon leaving the restaurant he was there to say goodbye. This truly felt like we were at our family's house eating with relatives. All of this fantastic experience doesn't even compare to the food. OH MY GOD, the food. From the appetizers to the fresh table-made Caesar salad to the entrees and dessert. I couldn't decide on what to eat and other diners there told me don't worry, no matter what you get will be awesome and THEY WERE RIGHT!! My only regret is that we live in NJ and won't be back untill next year. We will be back though and recommend anyone that is ever in Daytona Beach, you must eat at Chez Paul!! Thank you Paul, Nadine and Grandma for THE BEST dining experience we have ever had!!!!!"

"The pros: food is usually good. I prefer their salmon and my husband picks the fish and chips or fish tacos. The cons: I like to go to this place for the views of the ocean. For some reason the last three four times we ate here we were denied the table by the window. If you are in the area and want some ok seafood with amazing views then stop by but if you are like us and drive one hour for the view just to be crammed in the middle of the restaurant than save yourself the trip. Last time we had lunch the entire section near the windows was not used and all patrons were seated in the middle of the restaurant. We were told they would not open the section near the windows until the afternoon."

"Were here a few weeks ago. The service was absolutely terrible and food tastes like it came out of a landfill. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. New owners were to busy worrying about making sure their friends get to drink for free than running a business. Update: Sorry owners I’m not the old manager. Actually am from PA and this place will never be as good as it was when it was sunsetters."
