"I love this place!! Often here at least one weekend a month. Always really busy, but the service is top notch. Most I ever had to wait were 20 minutes on a busy Saturday. The servers are also amazing, especially Sarah!! I had the pleasure of being served by her often and it is always a pleasure. And the food is just as amazing. Thanks Metro!"

"I ordered the the sausage egg cheese and hash brown bowl the eggs were cooked that sausage was cooked the eggs are cooked but my hash browns were cooked on the outside nice and crispy but the whole center was just gross I only ate the outside that was cooked and I sat there and I watched how the guy cooked it. I was going to say something but they cook right there in front of you and I was just tired it was early in the morning I just wanted to get home. But I know one thing if I order this meal again I'm going to make sure that the center of the hash browns are cooked."

"Service was fantastic. Was happy to see they serve Pork Roll. We had Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese sandwiches with a side of grits. Grits were hands down a 10 best I’ve ever had. Owner was very sociable and sat with us and talked N.J. till our food came. I highly recommend the Starlight Diner."

"Recently my sisters and I were there for lunch. The food was delicious. It was a Sunday so we enjoyed a cup of the lemon chicken soup (and ordered some to go). Their homemade soups are quite tasty and the fresh crusty bread. Our server was Melissa, excellent and great personality. Made us feel like we were home. Restaurant is very clean and we found the staff to be very friendly and personable.. I was reluctant to try this place a few weeks ago because the one in Oak Hill is less than par, the quality of service and food just are no comparison to this Nova Rd Daytona location. It has become a favorite.. Thank you Melissa for your great service!!!"

"We eat here often. Everything is always great and cooked to perfection. And the biscuits are the best in town by far. And the burgers are the bomb also. Salty Dog and I boondock across Florida in the winter and this is number 1 on our list when in Daytona. Thank you Patty and the ladies that take care of us when we visit. GOT EGGS. LOL ???"
