"Stopped here for breakfast/brunch time. the cooked food is good and the service is quick. It did not take long to get our food after ordering. the pancakes were tasty and I think it might be real maple syrup that they use. The Reuben had the right amount of sauerkraut, which was delicious. the fresh desserts are tasty, but I would avoid anything wrapped in plastic wrap. I ordered the lemon pound cake as well and it was so dry. toasting it and adding butter may have helped but it was something I would not order again."

"This is a really cool French bistro in Denver. We had 8:30 pm reservations, we’re seated pretty promptly. I think they were operating short staffed so to put our drinks order in after we sat down we didn’t see our waitress till my husband asked. But even still, she was very sweet, you could tell they were just busy and short on staff. The cab franc is pretty good and their beer selection isn’t bad either. We had deviled eggs and oysters for apps, both were really good! My husband had the salmon which is arguably the best he’s ever had and I agree! The mix of flavors is delicious. I had the linguine which was also good but his entree was definitely better. Really cute a lot for a date night, would definitely recommend it!"

"Service pretty slow. We explained we needed to leave by 7 for theatre but didn’t get ck til 10 til. Would have been helpful if server had delivered a couple of items together so that we could have had a better communal experience. The food was excellent , especially the garlic hummus and the lamb dish"

"Sam’s is classic diner food with classic diner service. Food comes out hot and fast with the server keeping an eye on refills for drinks. There’s plenty of seating so when we arrived at 9 a.m. for breakfast on a weekday we didn’t have to wait. Portions are generous, easily enough for a second serving. The hash browns and sausage were fried to a crisp serving as a great foundation for the over easy eggs and sausage gravy. This was really filling and so, so good."

"Parking is a disaster on a Saturday night. Ambience is cozy but crowded. The mob at the door encroached on our dining space many times and let the frigid air in ceaselessly. This is a pipular place! We were served quickly but other tables had terrible waits. Poor acoustics for conversation, pretty loud. Service was friendly and prompt enough. The restaurant is a really small, packed space. Reminded me of NYC neighborhood dining. As or the food,the gnocchi are tender pillows as they should be but the sauce is too heavy. The picatta with angel hair pasta had a light, refreshing sauce but the veal was tough. The spaghetti with meatballs was pleasing. The fried cheese curds were perfect. If I were local I’d go again. We enjoyed our meal and are thankful we had reservations!"

"Sat on the patio with a friend to celebrate the end of summer. The rosé selection was wide and cocktails were refreshing. Ordered several small plates like the cornbread, shishito peppers, tomato tartine, and pork dish. My friend had the ribs but as a vegetarian I skipped ahead to dessert. The tiramisu is chefs kiss good."
