"Although the selection of items may be small this was a wonderful surprise. The chef combines the most unusual ingredients to create the most spectacular tastes sensations. Things are paired with great surprise. Remarkably this restaurant could satisfy the picky eater as well as the highly experimental foodie. I can't wait for next visit."

"First the pros nice cocktail wine list. Cute space. Sophisticated vibe. The vegetable sides were simple good. Now the cons The crispy egg came so raw that the white of the egg was still translucent. Our table also ordered a white fish which also came very undercooked. When they returned it a second time it was like cardboard. Any artist needs to learn the rules before breaking them. Sophie needs to be more attentive to the basics of cooking time, temperature, and quality. These are basics of french cooking she either never learned them or has forgotten them in her attempts at creativity."

"I love this experience. IT literally is a FULL sensory experience taste (not just taste but texture of foods), feel, smell, still visuals, moving visuals, sounds both from prep and the food in front of you and you even move! It was event very thoughtfully...themed (though subtle) and EVERYTHING is thoughtful. We think they have to have a creative design team who chooses everything from the pictures on the wall to the cutlery. I recommend this as a UNIQUE dining experience. It would be a great special occasion place. I do Michelin star restaurants its my thing and this has been my favorite so far. I left there with endorphins abounding and if i had to describe it with one word it would be ‘delightful’."

"We liked this restaurant, but not enough to give it 5 stars. it is very expensive and we expected more for what they have accused. service was friendly. cocktails are easy. the wine list is excellent, but very expensive. the octopus appetizer was delicious and well presented. we both had the fish specialist who was a healed in a Kumquat sauce. at $44, I found the part very small with a few paprika than sides. there is no abuse. they knew it was my birthday, so they brought a radio without a piece of cake I felt would have been nice. expect them to spend at least $250 for 2. all in all good, but not great!"

"This place is indeed a hidden gem, nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood called the “Plateau”. I’m from out of town so this was a nice change of pace from the usually busy noisy Montreal restaurants. It’s very small, but cozy and lively clearly...loved by locals. The food was outstanding, I had the Korean tartar and it was unique and delicious. The whole dual seating times was a real bummer though, our server was rushing us from the moment we sat down and it truly took away from the evening. Would I go back? Yes, still. The value was high and it was a business meeting so I couldn’t try the Wednesday night chef special that was a lot of food and sounded awesome! No decaf espresso, Cappuccino was still great."

"My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Decca 77. The service was exceptional and was the best we had throughout Montreal. The foods met expectations for the price, this is not a cheap date place, but it was the value available. With some of the other comments we are also Americans and had no problems with the staff. I would not consider the food portions small unless you are too cheap to order several courses. Overall, you will come here for excellent service and good food at a reasonable price."
